A group of immigrants landed on the wealthy Massachusetts island of Martha's Vineyard on Wednesday, part of a campaign by Republican governors to shift the immigration burden to Democratic areas.

I can't believe DeSantis is using Ralph Klein as a role model.

I hear there's a federal law against transporting undocumented people across state lines that could be applied...

Such a vile stunt from that wannabe fascist DeSantis.

They lied to get the migrants on the plane. Then they gave them falsified documents with random addresses from across the US that they had to appear at my Monday morning, ensuring they’d be declared illegal and deported.

In a mirror universe, DeSantis would be charged with human smuggling and it would be the end of his career. Sadly, we live in the fucked up universe where he won’t suffer either politically or criminally for this.

Toady's Trumpoid Republicans. You can't be shamed when you have no sense of shame at all.

So, I'm assuming that the 2 flights that arrived there were previously unscheduled incoming flights? Did they just suddenly show up and land?

Essentially yes. Flight plans still have to be filed ahead of time but no one in Martha’s Vineyard knew they were coming.

Yes. The Republican Governor of Florida did not tell the Republican Governor of Massachusetts that migrants would show up in a area with no support. And that these migrants would have fake home addresses and appointments as early as Monday with Department of Homeland Security in places like Texas.

And good on the residents for stepping up and taking care of fellow human beings in need,

I should correct myself. These people were not 'migrants'. They were applying for refugee status, they were not migrants.

Since CBC doesn't seem to know either, I'll give you a full pardon.

So where was your law and order fervor when the Feds were transporting illegals across state lines, and dumping them in Florida?

What's important is that rich Americans, who did it all WITH THEIR OWN BARE HANDS of course, from both political tribes always have a vast supply of cheap labour in order so, I dunno, they always get to feel like awesome little emperors as they live on the top looking down on everyone else?
